Healing matters…

Everyone you meet could probably use a bit of healing. And kindness and compassion allow healing to flow. Forgiveness helps too.
Simply sharing a kind word; an “I’m sorry”, a “thank you”, a “wow, that color shirt looks great on you” matters.
Sharing a simple act of kindness like; holding a door for someone, anonymously buying a cup of coffee for the person behind you in line at the coffee shop, listening to someone share a story that makes them happy even though they’ve told it to you before but you listen again like it’s the first time, pausing in traffic to let another driver merge, texting or calling someone to say “hey, I’m thinking about you and I appreciate you”, listening and bearing witness when someone is sad without trying to fix — well, I think get the idea :) Those random acts of kindness matter.
Sharing a smile matters.
It’s all healing.
And as someone once told me, “every time you give a healing, you get a healing”.
Healing begats healing.
And that’s pretty darn wonderful way to move thru life.
